Solution: The question talks about dissolving 1 g of NaCl in 100 grams of water versus 50 grams of water. Proportion by mass would be the only property that would change since in the first mixture we would have 1g of NaCl in 100 g and in the second mixture we would have 1g of NaCl in 50 g. Choice 4

Polarity, particle size and color are independent of the amount of solvent the solute dissolves in.
