Yes, it is again that time of the year. Finals are coming soon and students are anxiously awaiting their fate.
It is extremely important to stay on top of studies and not get too overwhelmed.
Here are 5 ways that will help you manage finals:
1. Make a list of what you need to do in priority order.
This will help you become less overwhelmed, organize everything, and be aware of all the deadlines. And there is no better feeling then crossing out one by one tasks you have accomplished.
2. Eat healthy and get enough sleep
Do not pull all nighters! You will burn out even before finals start. Get into a routine of waking up early and dedicating a good chunk of time for studying and paper writing. You want to be as energized during finals as possible.
3. Treat yourself
You know what? It's finals time! And you are working hard at making sure you succeed. You deserve a little treat, be it a piece of chocolate or a short walk. If it makes you happy, do it! (Just don't overindulge)
4. Visualize your day early in the morning.
Start visualizing right after you wake up. Visualize what you will accomplish, good grades, and productivity. Start your day right with visualization, and you will see how much improvement it will bring.
