Best book for Organic Chemistry

There are many different textbooks for organic chemistry on the market. I find the best, in terms of understanding and step by step approach is "Organic Chemistry" by David Klein.

He also wrote two supplemental editions: "Orgo I as a second language" and "Orgo II as a second language."

To practice organic chemistry effectively and understand how to do problems, it is important to always compare your answers to the answer key. For this reason, a student should always refer to solutions manual after every problem he/she completes. I suggest doing inside the chapter problems as well as most of the end of chapter problems.

A student can also make flashcards to write out all of the reagents and reactions for each chapter. The reactions are well summarized at the end of each chapter in the David Klein book as well.
